Customization

Apart from its FPGA-based acceleration cards, PRO DESIGN offers Electronic Engineering and Manufacturing Services (E2MS) for a variety of high-tech markets. The company’s service portfolio stretches from specification, hardware and software development to PCB layout and mechanical construction until in-house PCB assembly and test. This allows PRO DESIGN to design and manufacture customized solutions for its customers including custom daughter boards for prodesign HAWK and FALCON series as well as fully customized FPGA boards.

Expand and Succeed

To achieve more flexibility with off-the-shelf boards, PRO DESIGN designed several extension boards for regular I/O connected interfaces and memories via SO-DIMM and Gigabit transceiver connected high-speed interfaces and memories via QSFP or Samtec NovaRay connectors. In addition, customers have the possibility to increase this flexibility even more by using customized daughter boards. This approach allows a quick market entry with an off-the-shelf board while a fully custom solution is still under development.

Decades of experiences with FPGA

Since more than 20 years PRO DESIGN designs and manufactures complex FPGA boards based on latest technologies. Over the time we have developed nearly 100 different FPGA boards. The key for success is the close cooperation with our customers and internally between the departments – from sales via R&D and CAD to factory and test lab. At PRO DESIGN all steps are done in house. That is the reason why PRO DESIGN can easily adapt existing PCIe cards to new requirements or design completely new customized FPGA boards in a short time.
